I had high hopes for my “read” list for September because I anticipated a week relaxing on the beach in North Carolina. In actuality, I got 3 days in North Carolina, then a frantic trip home to deal with 4 feet of water which had flooded my basement. Not so much time to read after all!

Another husband recommendation – I took this series on vacation with me since we had them as paper books…I didn’t want my kindle anywhere near the sand and surf! I’m still reading these and they’re very good – I love a good fantasy series, and this one takes it a step further by incorporating someone from our world. It’s a fun, light read and there are 6 books in the series.
