As part of the gift bags I put together for my neighbors this year, I included this cinnamon honey butter (and an almond pound cake to each…but I didn’t take pictures of that!). This stuff is tasty on everything – toast, english muffins, pound cake, muffins, pancakes, waffles, biscuits…anything!

This is very tasty, and super-simple to whip up. As I’m not particularly creative I used Avery’s label template website to make a few cute labels for on the jars.

For jars, instead of buying an entire box of canning jars I may not use, I went to the dollar store and purchased cheap items in nice glass jars. Then I reused those jars!

(Tidy Mom)

yields 3 half pint jars

1 cup Honey

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tsp cinnamon

3 half pint canning jars

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in bowl. Using whisk attachment on mixer blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
  • Use rubber spatula to pour mixture in to a large pastry or plastic zip-top bag, cut off tip and squeeze into half pint jars. (tip: place bag in tall glass for support, or have someone hold the bag while you pour)
  • Keep refrigerated.  Serve room temperature.
