Whew! Another Christmas has come and gone!
This Christmas (especially) felt like a month-long event. We had exactly 19 days between leaving Pittsburgh, where we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family, and returning to it to celebrate Christmas a week early!
That alone made for a busy few weeks, but add in holiday parties and other events…and I feel like I’ve cooked up a storm!
Most of the recipes I made this year were tried-and-true recipes…I had trouble finding anything that struck my fancy enough to branch out. Here’s a re-cap of what I created in the month of December. 🙂
Chocolate Chip Cookies (1/2 with walnuts; 1/2 without!)
Pulled Pork (served with slider rolls to make it party food!)
‘Christmas Morning’ Breakfast in Pittsburgh
Breakfast for my Boss and her Family on Christmas
In-Laws Over for Christmas Dinner
Smoked Ham (from seriously the best butcher ever, Willie’s)
Mashed Potatoes (my FIL won’t eat anything else!)
