Yep…the first one wasn’t bad enough; I actually tried to read the second one! These were free books I downloaded to my Kindle before I realized what they were. This was the second book – after The Heat – and it was even worse. Nothing more need be said. 
White Seed: The Untold Story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke

Review:
This was a cheap Kindle download, and I was wanting to read something about the lost colony of Roanoke so it seemed a perfect fit. It takes the facts that we know about the colony, and intermixes them with a fictional tale of what could have happened. It’s well-written, although a bit lengthy, and the fictional aspects of the tale are completely plausible. Decent read – but the length made it hard to get through at times.
