Apparently today was spreadable cheese day for me — breakfast, lunch, AND snack contained spreadable cheese.
Ah well. You’ll have that!
I also keep thinking it’s Friday. Which will be a TOTAL let-down tomorrow when my alarm goes off and I realize it really is Friday.
I was totally hungry for this breakfast, and it met ALL my expectations.
Whole wheat Bagel Thin, tiny schmear of cream cheese, and an egg+2 egg whites, scrambled.
I had a conference call this morning, and munched on my pineapple, blueberry, and grape fruit salad with a bit ‘o dip
Ham and laughing cow cheese with spring mix on an everything bagel thin, with a few roasted potatoes from leftovers.
I only used ½ my laughing cow on the sammie, and saved the rest for my snack.
I packed a big bag of veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots) to munch on this afternoon because I was feeling snacky. With some yogurt dip.
And, of course, the rest of my laughing cow with about 10 pretzels (which was a delicious combo).
Another full body maintenance strength workout today. I did a quick 10-minute warm-up cardio on the elliptical, stretched my piriformis a bit, and then…
3 sets of the following:
- Dumbbell Chest Press
- Bent Over Dumbbell Rows
- Upright Rows
- Lying Leg Press
- Seated Calf Press (Performed on Leg Press Machine)
- Reverse Bicep Curls (Palms down)
- Lying Tricep Dumbbell Extensions (”Skullcrushers”)
Hopped back on the elliptical for 15 minutes before heading home to walk Holly.
HRM = 498 calories in 1h12m
I didn’t include my Holly-walk in my calorie burning count tonight..I don’t know if I should or not, because I don’t truly consider it exercise for me.
Leftover sloppy joe tonight, with some salad action. I even scooped some of the sloppy joe mix onto my salad, rather than dressing it (that happened after the pic)
Oh…and a few pretzels for crunch.
