My head is still killing me today. This morning it wasn’t too bad, but as my day went on it got progressively worse, despite my best attempts to keep it at bay.
This makes me sad, because it meant no gym time today. I feel like every week I start out strong, but “crap” gets in the way at the end of the week.
Why is that??
Maybe I need to buck the “work out the days you work” system, and try for more weekend stuff. The pro’s would be I could reclaim some of my evenings during the week. The con’s would be it’s harder to schedule workout time during unpredictable weekend schedules.
Those who work out on weekends – how do you fit it in? It seems like our weekends are even busier than our weekdays! With cleaning, laundry, events, groceries, etc…I just don’t know where I’d put it in.
Plus, ashamedly, I really like having my weekends off. I enjoy knowing I’m “off” from exercise and from work both. It doesn’t mean I don’t do some fitness-related things on the weekends, but it does mean no trip to the gym. And that’s nice.
Breakfast
Everyone in my office was seriously envious of my breakfast this morning. LOL So much so, that two of them ended up walking to McDonald’s and getting that for breakfast (eww…)
Bagel Thin with 1 egg+2 egg whites, and 1 slice of real ham. Yum.
Oh, and a Clementine
Snack
None
Lunch
I brought a lunch, but caved into peer pressure again today and went out with co-workers.
1 slice of veggie pizza (broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, tomato…I picked the mushrooms off. Nastay.)
1 slice of white pizza with broccoli
I only ate one slice, and nibbled through the other this afternoon. They were both delicious.
Snack
None, really, because I snacked on the second slice of pizza all afternoon.
.Just a Clementine, unpictured.
Exercise
I really needed to get abs and another leg day in, but with my aching head, I wasn’t sure what to do.
I knew I had to go do part of my shopping tonight, so I ended up skipping my workout.
I knew it would just aggravate my migraine, and the last thing I want to do is make it worse.
DH and I did take Holly for a walk though, about 35 minutes.
Dinner
Chicken sausage sammies with onions and red peppers, roasted potatoes with BBQ sauce, green beans
