Breakfast

Breakfast was unpictured, because DH and I scarfed it down before heading outside to start digging ourselves out of the 18”-ish snow we had!

It was a bowl of Nature’s Path Red Berry Crunch, blueberries, 1/2 a banana, and 1% milk

After breakfast, we both headed out, DH armed with the snowblower, and me, armed with the shovel, to dig out.

We dug ourselves out, and 3 neighbors! Holy cow! I also waded into the drifted snow in our back yard to free up the dryer vent so I could do laundry. The snow was up to my waist in the back yard (and I’m a leggy 5’6” – so it was TALL!)

I’d say I shoveled snow and was outside for about an hour and a half. I was pooped when I came in!

Lunch

Mmm..luncha….

Lunch was a turkey and provolone on whole wheat, spritzed with butter and then toasted in a pan. I also had a handful of pretzels, and about a cup of canned leftover green beans I found in the fridge.

After lunch I totally crashed. I fell asleep on the couch and slept with the pup for about an hour and a half.

But I must’ve needed it, because I felt amazing when I woke up! I also felt ravenous….so I had a bowl of peanut butter puffins and milk before I tackled my housework.

Dinner

Dinner was all leftovers/things I needed to use up, but it was delicious!

I had a salad with spring mix, red peppers, tomatoes, corn, and carrots, drizzled with red wine vinegar, a HUGE sweet potato and leftover crockpot rotisserie chicken.

Delish!

Evening

My evening plan involves me, PJs, a book, and the couch. I hadn’t been feeling well yesterday at work (painful inner ears/throat) but this morning I felt pretty good.

Well…now it feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest.

Not good.

I’ll take it easy tonight and tomorrow, and see how I am. But there may be a doctor’s appointment in my future!
